Here are 10 national standouts who starred during the regular season but figure to make even larger impacts during state-title runs.
10. Terrence TusanSchool: Trinity (Euless, Texas)Position: Running Back
Grade: Senior
Don't be fooled by Tusan's lack of use. The super elusive 5-foot-5, 155-pound senior has carried only 65 times – for 835 yards – because the Trojans tend to blow teams out. The top-ranked Trojans have outscored foes 465-78 in nine straight victories. Tusan will get many more carries as Trinity goes deeper into the Texas 5A playoffs.
