Nettleton has gone 9-1 against Valley View recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Nettleton Raiders will venture away from home to square off against the Valley View Blazers at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Nettleton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.

Nettleton is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since November 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 64-34 victory over Paragould. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st in Arkansas, while the Rams are ranked 188th in Arkansas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Valley View came up short against Marion on Tuesday and fell 71-60. The Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Nettleton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Things could have been worse for Nettleton, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-44 loss to Valley View when the teams last played back in January. Can Nettleton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
