South Summit hasn't had much luck against Summit Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Wildcats will welcome the Bears at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

South Summit is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to Union.

Summit Academy couldn't beat American Leadership Academy on Friday even though they stacked six runs on them in the first inning. The Bears came up short against the Eagles, falling 17-7. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Talin Hill was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

In other batting news, Sebastian Rojas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Summit Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for South Summit, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.
