Basketball Game Preview: Ridgefield Spudders vs. Hockinson Hawks

The Ridgefield Spudders will head out to face off against the Hockinson Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Ridgefield will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Mark Morris, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Ridgefield managed a 58-53 win over Mark Morris on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spudders.

Meanwhile, Hockinson beat Woodland 58-48 on Monday. That's two games straight that the Hawks have won by exactly ten points.

Ridgefield's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Hockinson, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Ridgefield strolled past Hockinson in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 64-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ridgefield since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
