Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Win Is De La Salle's Fifth in Last Six Outings

De La Salle had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Edison Tigers get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Tuesday.

Nicolas DeMartini and Ronan Rattigan scored both of De La Salle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

De La Salle has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Edison moved to 22-3 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, De La Salle will take on Bellarmine College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. De La Salle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season. Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
