Baseball Recap: John Glenn Takes a Loss

John Glenn lost to Tri-Valley on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Muskies fell just short of the Scotties by a score of 8-7. The Muskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carter Merry was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of John Glenn's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 5-12 when he doesn't). Jensen Parry was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

John Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Tri-Valley, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7.
