Baseball Recap: Wayne Valley's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wayne Valley entered their tilt with Tenafly on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They skirted past the Tigers 9-7. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The team relied heavily on Michael Kamper, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Josh Gonzalez, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Wayne Valley now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Tenafly, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Wayne Valley will challenge Nutley at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Tenafly, they will take on Fair Lawn at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
