After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four contests, Copper Canyon finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos, falling 21-1. The Aztecs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Copper Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for La Joya Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
