Soccer Recap: Cypress Park Comes Up Short

Cypress Park lost against Cypress Ranch back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cypress Park Tigers fell just short of the Cypress Ranch Mustangs by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Mustangs are ranked 95th).

Cypress Park has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. The win was the fourth in a row for Cypress Ranch, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Cypress Park will challenge Bridgeland at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cypress Ranch, they will square off against Waller at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cypress Ranch is facing Waller at the right time seeing as Waller is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
