Soccer Recap: Charlottesville Gets the Win + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Charlottesville walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Broad Run Spartans a 2-0 shutout on Tuesday.

Garrett Williams and Casper Koch scored both of Charlottesville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Charlottesville's win bumped their record up to 18-2-1. As for Broad Run, they moved to 7-5-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coming up, Charlottesville will challenge Jamestown at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Jamestown will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Charlottesville surely won't give up without a fight. Broad Run does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
