California School for the Deaf-Riverside had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the United Christian Academy Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Cubs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

California School for the Deaf-Riverside walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-19, 15-25, 25-11, 25-21.

The victory got California School for the Deaf-Riverside back to even at 9-9. As for United Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Coming up, California School for the Deaf-Riverside will challenge Florida School for the Deaf & Blind at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cubs are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for United Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on California Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
