Lowell won the last time they faced Griffith and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Devils blew past the Panthers, posting a 42-14 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Brody Kalwinski had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 98 yards and three scores on only 13 carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lowell's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Zak M Scharnke, Gavin Gudgel, and Matt Gangwisch, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Lowell now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Griffith, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowell will venture away from home to square off against Hanover Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Red Devils their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Griffith, they will head out on the road to take on Boone Grove at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
