Baseball Recap: Waterford Comes Up Short

Waterford's last matchup with Morgan could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Saturday. The Wildcats lost 14-3 to the Raiders. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Waterford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Morgan, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waterford will face off against Federal Hocking at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Morgan, they will welcome John Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
