Volleyball Recap: West Forsyth Falls Short Against Ranked Marvin Ridge

West Forsyth faced Marvin Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Titans came up short against the Mavericks, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered since September 14, 2024.

West Forsyth took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-14.

Avalon Rayne paced West Forsyth's offense, picking up seven kills. Rayne got some help from Hadley Lichty and her ten assists.

Leading Marvin Ridge to victory were Brooklyn Wilson and Kennedy King. Wilson had nine digs, while King had six digs and one assist. That's the most digs King has posted since back in October of 2024.
