Basketball Recap: Mitchell Comes Up Short

Mitchell played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Bennett Tigers and fell 71-29. The Marauders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-17.

Austin Stiers went supernova For Bennett., going 11-for-19 en route to 31 points. Those 31 points gave Stiers a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alfredo Duran, who shot 83% from the field to rack up 10 points.

Mitchell's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bennett, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
