South Lyon has gone a perfect 10-0 against Kettering recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lions will square off against the Captains at 7:00 p.m. South Lyon is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games.

On Monday, South Lyon got the win against Walled Lake Central by a conclusive 3-0.

South Lyon's got stronger as the match went on, holding Walled Lake Central to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-9.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Kettering sidestepped Walled Lake Western for a 3-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Captains in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Kettering had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 22-25, 25-12, 25-18, 15-9.

Kettering's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for South Lyon, their victory bumped their record up to 24-5-1.

South Lyon was able to grind out a solid win over Kettering in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
