Conner is a perfect 10-0 against Scott since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Cougars will be playing at home against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

St. Henry hit Conner with a five-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cougars fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 9-8.

Max Brunkel made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Bushman, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Scott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-1 to Ryle. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since April 24th.

Conner's loss dropped their record down to 18-15. As for Scott, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-17.

Conner skirted past Scott 7-5 in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
