Football Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Freedom extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They were beaten by the Zephyrhills Bulldogs 50-0. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 447th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 65th).

As for Zephyrhills, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Zephyrhills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Patrick Harding, who threw for 126 yards and three TDs on only nine passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Another back making a difference was Roe Miller, who gained 121 total yards and a touchdown.

Freedom has already played their next matchup, a 48-21 defeat against Fort Meade on the 17th. As for Zephyrhills, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-14 win against South Sumter on the 17th.
