Murray County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Dade County Wolverines by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Indians were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wolverines, so the Indians were just returning the favor.

Murray County not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Dade County to exactly 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dade County fell to 2-1.
