Meanwhile, Heritage Christian Academy had to suffer through a 64-37 loss at the hands of Barry County Christian. The defeat continues a trend for Heritage Christian Academy in their matchups with Barry County Christian: they've now lost six in a row.

Heritage Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Algoma Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.

Everything came up roses for Algoma Christian against Heritage Christian Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 73-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Algoma Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
