Basketball Recap: Antwerp Takes a Loss

Antwerp lost against Lincolnview back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Antwerp Archers were beaten by the Lincolnview Lancers 63-30. The matchup marked the Archers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Leading Lincolnview to victory were Emerson Walker and Keira Breese. Walker posted 11 points along with six assists and three steals, while Breese went 6 for 14 en route to 18 points. Those six assists gave Walker a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabel Horstman, who scored eight points.

Antwerp has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Lincolnview, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Antwerp wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-36 loss against Edgerton on the 16th. As for Lincolnview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-37 defeat against Columbus Grove on the 16th.
