Volleyball Recap: Manistee Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Manistee posted their closest victory since August 27th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the St. Mary Eagles. The Mariners have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Manistee's victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-7. As for St. Mary, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Manistee will challenge Oakridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary, they will face off against Traverse City Christian at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
