Soccer Recap: Leavenworth Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Leavenworth lost against West back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The PIONEERS came up short against the Chargers, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Leavenworth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 108th, while West are ranked 24th).

Leavenworth's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for West, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 10-2-1 record this season.

Leavenworth didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 defeat against Basehor-Linwood on the 9th. As for West, they will face off against Junction City at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
