Softball Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 23-0 to the Wakeland Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 back in March.

Highland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Wakeland, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Highland Park is set to take on their familiar foe The Colony at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wakeland will challenge rival Creekview at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
