Everett and Shorewood are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Seagulls will be playing at home against the Stormrays at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Everett took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 42-21 margin over Monroe. That looming 42-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Seagulls yet this season.

Meanwhile, Shorewood put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 56-0 victory over Lynnwood. Given the Stormrays' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Royals are ranked 253rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Everett better keep an eye on Finn Bachler. He was instrumental in Shorewood's win, rushing for 83 yards and one score on only six carries, while also picking up 46 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Shorewood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 249 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Everett's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Shorewood, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Everett was taken down by Shorewood 38-7 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bachler, who rushed for 68 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries, and also caught one score. Now that the Seagulls know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
