League recap: Satellite (13-14) tops in 4A District 8 play

Satellite currently leads the league with a 13-14 record overall and a 7-3 mark during league play. Cocoa Beach is in second place, one game behind with a 6-4 record in league play.

The Minutemen's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 10 hits and two walks to lead the league in both categories. On the season, Cocoa Beach has allowed just 141 hits, while striking out 98 batters. Stephen Sarka leads Cocoa Beach with 57 strikeouts in 71 innings pitched.
