Basketball Recap: Monahans Takes a Loss

Monahans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 58-18 loss at the hands of the Greenwood Rangers. The Loboes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-11.

Monahans' defeat dropped their record down to 11-22. As for Greenwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Monahans will head out to take on Seminole at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Greenwood has already played their next contest (against Pecos), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
