Thomas Jefferson is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against George Washington on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Thomas Jefferson came up short against George Washington, falling 55-34. The Spartans have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Anisa Adrovic, who went 5 for 12 en route to 11 points. Another player making a difference was Leila Olbricht-Simon, who posted seven points and seven rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Regis Groff and nudges their season record down to 8-8. As for Thomas Jefferson, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-11.
