Basketball Game Preview: Latta Panthers vs. Dale Pirates

Latta is on an eight-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Dale is on a four-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Latta came up short against Vanoss and fell 39-30. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Dale won against Byng last Tuesday with 74 points and they decided to stick to that point total again last Friday. The Pirates blew past Frontier, posting a 74-36 victory. Fans of the Pirates have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Dale's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Latta, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Latta beat Dale 41-34 in their previous matchup back in January. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
