Basketball Game Preview: Innovation Bulls vs. Lake Buena Vista Vipers

Having just played yesterday, the Innovation Bulls will get right back to it and host the Lake Buena Vista Vipers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Innovation is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 68 points on Wednesday, they were much more limited against University on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Cougars 73-26. The Bulls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Buena Vista). They snuck past East Ridge with a 79-74 victory on Monday.

Lake Buena Vista's win came from a few key players Innovation will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Travis Ligene, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Alessandro Ferace, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 23 points and five assists.

Lake Buena Vista was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win got Lake Buena Vista back to even at 4-4. As for Innovation, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
