Taylor County and Jefferson County squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Taylor County had to settle for second. They took a 12-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Taylor County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Jefferson County, they moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Taylor County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson County, they will face off against Suwannee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Tigers 12.2, the Bulldogs 7.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
