Basketball Recap: North Rose-Wolcott Comes Up Short

North Rose-Wolcott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 62-53 loss back in January.

North Rose-Wolcott's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Clyde-Savannah, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

North Rose-Wolcott and Clyde-Savannah could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. North Rose-Wolcott (ranked 797th) will meet East Rochester (ranked 163rd) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clyde-Savannah will take on Gananda Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 343 places (661 vs. 318).
