Football Recap: Lenawee Christian Takes a Loss

Lenawee Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-18 loss at the hands of the Britton Deerfield Patriots. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lenawee Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Britton Deerfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Lenawee Christian will head out on the road to take on Morenci at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Britton Deerfield, they will square off against Holton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Patriots will be up against the Red Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
