Meanwhile, Columbia Falls faced Whitefish in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Columbia Falls' defense stepped up to hand Whitefish a 3-0 shutout.
Polson's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Columbia Falls, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Polson was taken down by Columbia Falls 42-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2023.
