Baseball Recap: Cary-Grove Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cary-Grove's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Mundelein Mustangs on Thursday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Cary-Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Mundelein, they pushed their record up to 6-1-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Cary-Grove and Mundelein will both be playing Glenbrook South the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Titans at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
