Baseball Recap: Diman RVT Takes a Loss

Diman RVT was the 5-2 winner over Upper Cape Cod RVT when they last played one another back in June of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Bengals fell just short of the Rams by a score of 6-5 on Monday.

Diman RVT saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Perreira, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was Perreira's first of the season. Samuel Perry was another, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Diman RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Diman RVT will take on Westport at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, they will challenge Mashpee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
