Basketball Recap: Thrall Takes a Loss

Thrall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Rogers Eagles an easy 58-35 win. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in December of 2019.

Thrall's record now sits at 2-14. As for Rogers, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Thrall and Rogers could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Thrall (ranked 1509th) will meet Troy (ranked 693rd) at 1:00 p.m. on December 28th. Meanwhile, Rogers will face off against Hearne at 9:30 a.m. on Friday down 517 places (933 vs. 416).
