The Andrew Jackson Volunteers entered their tilt with the Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Andrew Jackson blew past Ridgeland-Hardeeville, posting a 58-16 victory at home. Considering Andrew Jackson has won six contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Trey Thompson, who rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. Thompson is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last 11 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brady Williams, who threw for 131 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Andrew Jackson's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Kamron Mcgill and his two sacks.

Andrew Jackson's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Ridgeland-Hardeeville, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Andrew Jackson's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Kingstree at 7:30 p.m. on November 10th. Kingstree will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Ridgeland-Hardeeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
