Basketball Recap: Rittman Takes a Loss

Rittman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 33-19 bruising from the Garrett Morgan Falcons. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Garrett Morgan found their leader in sophomore Anylaih Moore, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 17 boards. Moore also set a new season-high mark in blocks with five. Jamyla Blevins-Hicks also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Rittman's loss dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Garrett Morgan, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Coming up, Rittman will square off against Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. As for Garrett Morgan, they will take on Maple Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
