Flag Football Game Preview: Fairmont Prep Huskies vs. Pacifica Christian Tritons

The Fairmont Prep Huskies will challenge the Pacifica Christian Tritons at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

Fairmont Prep saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came up short against Dana Hills, falling 31-6. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pacifica Christian). They claimed a resounding 39-0 win over Bolsa Grande. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tritons considering their six-point performance the game before.

Pacifica Christian found their leader in freshman Kailaya Cutchins, who threw for 17 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.3% of her passes. Anela Enanoria made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

One reason for the win was Pacifica Christian's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Gracie Ellison and Leyla Gomez, who racked up all five sacks between them. Enanoria got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Pacifica Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Fairmont Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
