Corsicana has gone 8-2 against Ennis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Corsicana Tigers duke it out with the Ennis Lions at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Corsicana and 18 for Ennis.

Corsicana is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Red Oak on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Corsicana was outmatched by Red Oak and fell 84-34. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-17.

Meanwhile, Ennis was beaten by Midlothian Heritage 52-24 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1032nd, while the Jaguars are ranked 135th).

Ennis' loss dropped their record down to 6-27. As for Corsicana, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-21.

Corsicana didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Ennis when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 42-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Corsicana since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
