Whitko has gone 8-1 against Northfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wildcats will welcome the Norsemen at 5:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Whitko is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Southwood just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 5-1 to the Knights.

Whitko saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addie Garr, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Northfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Northwestern, falling 11-1.

Whitko's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Northfield, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Whitko beat Northfield 11-6 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Norsemen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
