Volleyball Recap: Tekoa-Rosalia Takes a Loss

Tekoa-Rosalia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. John-Endicott Eagles. The Timberwolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Tekoa-Rosalia took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-19, 15-7.

Tekoa-Rosalia's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for St. John-Endicott, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tekoa-Rosalia will face off against rival Colton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. John-Endicott is set to challenge their familiar foe Pomeroy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
