Jasper County strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 42-7 win over the Social Circle Redskins. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won five contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Jasper County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JaMarkus Thomas, who rushed for 126 yards while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 117 yards and two TDs while completing 88.9% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Thomas a new career-high in passer rating (167.8). Chance Ross also helped out as he racked up 135 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jasper County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 358 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Jasper County's record now sits at 8-0. As for Social Circle, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Jasper County has already played their next matchup, a 28-10 victory against Putnam County on the 24th. As for Social Circle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 22-6 defeat against Lamar County on the 24th.
