Basketball Game Preview: Huntington Huntsmen vs. Eastern Eagles

The Huntington Huntsmen will be taking part in a tournament against the Eastern Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Huntington will be strutting in after a victory while Eastern will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Huntington beat Ross County Christian Academy 68-62.

Meanwhile, Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-42 heartbreaker at the hands of Fort Frye.

Huntington is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Eastern, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.
