After a string of seven wins, Jemison's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Chilton County Tigers by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Jemison's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Chilton County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.
