Wayne never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Waterloo Tigers. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won nine in a row.

The result came thanks to Jones Cory's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Grasso Michael was incredible, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3. Celso Caleb was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Wayne's record is now 3-0. As for Waterloo, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Wayne will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
