While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pioneers 25-23 in the first set.
North Crowley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-22.
Despite the defeat, North Crowley had strong showings from Aniyah Lee, who had 18 digs, and Aniyah Kinney, who had four digs.
Mansfield has been struggling recently as they've lost 25 of their last 29 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-28 record this season. As for North Crowley, their loss dropped their record down to 20-15.
