Baseball Game Preview: Lake Placid Dragons vs. Frostproof Bulldogs

The Lake Placid Dragons will face off against the Frostproof Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Lake Placid: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Frostproof has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

Lake Placid's last matchup with Avon Park could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Thursday. Lake Placid lost 13-3 to Avon Park.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Frostproof took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of DeSoto County.

Frostproof saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradley Roberts, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Colton Paulk was another, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Lake Placid's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Frostproof, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Lake Placid came out on top in a nail-biter against Frostproof when the teams last played on March 4th, sneaking past 7-6. Does Lake Placid have another victory up their sleeve, or will Frostproof turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
