Recap: Skyline Raiders vs. Lake Ridge Eagles
The Skyline Raiders lost against the Lake Ridge Eagles back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Skyline took a serious blow against Lake Ridge, falling 81-42. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Skyline has scored all season.
It was another big night for Amir McMillian, who scored 16 points for Lake Ridge. Matthew Alexander was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Lake Ridge, they pushed their record up to 19-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
Skyline will take on Cedar Hill at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Hill presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Skyline in Texas (Cedar Hill is ranked 146th, while Skyline is ranked 448th). As for Lake Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against DeSoto at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
